Brown HTML

I’ve been hearing a lot about color lately, partly from Typographhy and partly from this class here. Pantone, Spot, Monochrome, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Klack (I mean black!), Red, Green, Blue, Addative, Subtractive, Multiplicative…. Um…. Right….

Anyways, it has always puzzled me… how do you make brown? I mean, its not a part of any of the secondary color schemes. It doesn’t seem to exist on any of the color wheels I’ve ever seen. It’s nigh impossible to find on the dang RGB palletes on the monitor. What’s the dilly yo?

Maybe brown is a kind of mixture color that can’t be represented in a single pixel? I don’t know…. You can find it by mixing a bunch of subtractive colors together, but what about addatives? This looks like a job for the INTERWEB!!! I’ll be right back with something.
